OLANZ Architecture + Design is an architecture and design practice based in Miami and founded by Cuban American architects René Oñate & Mabel Lanza.

Mr. Oñate & Mrs. Lanza began their architectural studies at the School of Architecture Jose Antonio Echeverria (CUJAE), Havana, Cuba and they have graduated with a Master of Architecture in 2009 & 2011 at Florida International University School of Architecture + The Arts where Oñate was honored with the Design Excellence Award in 2009 for his Master Project " Green Architecture in a Historical Urban Setting" and Lanza was honored with the Design Excellence Award in 2011 for her Master Project " The Sense of Place".

Prior to launching OLANZ Architecture + Design in May 2013, they worked more than 10 years for architecture and construction firms where they gained professional experience on design and management of Mixed-use low and high-rises, Hospitality – Hotels, Resorts & Condo-Hotels, Retail, Office buildings, Healthcare, Educational, Commercial, Industrial, Government, Multi-family, and high-end residential projects.

Through OLANZ Architecture + Design, Mr. Oñate & Mrs. Lanza with a group of architects and designers are exploring new avenues in the art of architecture and design.
